We thank God for the eighth Emmaus Sunday on May 21. Though it was a long weekend, our regular community attendance rebound from the previous Mother’s day hit. And our guests surprised volunteers and teachers.
The vegetarian cooking class guests proudly shared the artistry of their created delicacies and delighted volunteers. Pronunciation class guests brought Chocolate covered grapes as gifts for volunteers and their teachers. An expression of their deep appreciation and friendships they’ve struck. This was pronunciation last class however, Elder Lorraine accepted to add one more bonus class this coming Sunday. Financial Literacy class was successfully concluded. Thank you Lord because you’ve brought us this far.
We planned to award the guests with certificate of attendance during July 2, fun event “Canada Day Weekend Pancake.” However, the Holy Spirit impressed some teachers to explore relationships with the guests and check if they’ll be open to attend our worship service to receive their certificates. Praise God, they said “yes.”
Please join us in prayers as we extend the same invitation to the other guests and have them all attend our worship service. We’re humbled by the way our Lord is journeying together with us in REACH Initiative and bringing us this far.
